Indian River County · Est. 1974
From a single 340-acre estate along Florida's Treasure Coast, our family has been pressing the legendary Indian River citrus within four hours of hand-picking — since 1974.

A Four-Generation Grove
In 1974, our grandparents bought seven acres of sandy hammock soil along Indian River Boulevard and planted their first Hamlin orange trees. We now steward 340 contiguous acres in the only American citrus region recognized by the European Union's protected-geographical-indication standards — the same climate and sandy ridge that made Florida oranges the most expensive fruit in 1950s Paris.
We still hand-pick into canvas picking sacks. We still press within four hours. We still bottle in returnable amber glass. The four generations in between have only made the work more honest.

Four varietals from the same grove, picked and pressed within the same forty-eight hours. Each bottle carries a hand-stamped harvest number on the shoulder.
The Numbers Behind the Bottles
Grove to Bottle in Four Hours
The bottleneck in any citrus juice is time between the tree and the press. We have engineered ours down to four hours, then lab-tested the result against leading HPP brands. The data is on the back of every bottle.
Pickers move through the grove with canvas sacks from first light, selecting only fruit that releases cleanly from the stem. No mechanical shakers, no bin-bins of bulk fruit.
Fruit travels four miles by flatbed to our 22,000-sq-ft SQF Level 3 facility, washed in citrus-recirculated water, and sized by optical scanner before pressing.
Hydraulic press at 1,800 psi. Flash-pasteurized at 161°F — hot enough for Florida safety regulations, cool enough to preserve 3.2× the live enzymes of leading HPP brands.
Filled into returnable amber glass under nitrogen blanket, stamped with harvest number 047, cold-stored at 38°F, and shipped in 100% recyclable, Climate Pledge Friendly packaging.
We pour twelve other citrus programs behind the bar. Indian River is the only one our sommeliers ask for by name — the brightness holds through service ice, and the bottles come back cleaner than anything else we stock.
